Remark: New Moon Prosperity Pot could serve up to a size of 10 people. The ingredients used in this recipe may be adjusted to suit your family size.

Ingredients:

1 can of New Moon Prosperity Pot

1 can of New Moon Pacific Clams

1 broccoli, cut into florets

5 tiger prawns, trimmed and deveined

½ carrot, sliced

5 large leaves of Napa cabbage, cut into 1” size

5 sheets of fried bean curd skin, soaked in hot water till soften

1 tbsp of wolfberries, soaked

Directions:

  1. In a hot boiling water, blanched broccoli, carrot and napa cabbage separately for 3 minutes or until soften.
  2. Placed the napa cabbage at the bottom of the claypot or casserole, followed by bean curd skin.
  3. Separate gravy from the solid ingredients in New Moon Prosperity Pot. 
  4. Add in the solids, placing the abalones in the centre
  5. Assemble carrots, broccoli, pacific clams and prawns around the claypot.
  6. Pour the gravy over and scatter the wolfberries on top.
  7. Cover with lid and bring the content to boil on medium heat
  8. Ready to serve




Abalone Yu Sheng

NEW MOON ABALONE YU SHENG (CNY SPECIALS)

 

ABALONE YU SHENG

Additional Ingredients (optional):

80g white radish

80g carrot

80g green radish (or cucumber)

1-2 small lime

2 tbsp olive oil (or any other vegetable oil)

Directions:

  1. Shred radish and carrot. Soak them in ice water for an hour.
  2. Remove and twist dry with towel.
  3. On a large plate, place shredded vegetables at the centre, followed by preserved vegetables around them.
  4. Arrange New Moon Whole Abalones on top of the shredded vegetables.
  5. Sprinkle the other condiments onto the salad in the following sequence:

pepper, cinnamon powder, oil, yusheng sauce and lime juice.

  1. Top up with Pok Chui Crackers, peanuts and sesame.
  2. Ready to serve.

*Note: Drain away the syrup from the preserved vegetables before use.
