Hawaiian Garlicky Shrimp Rice Bowl using New Moon Organic Superice

INGREDIENTS


1 cup uncooked  New Moon Organic SupeRIce1.6 cups water

10 medium-Large shrimps, shells peeled and deveined

1 tablespoon all purpose flour

1 teaspoon paprika

½ teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon black pepper

5 cloves of garlic, minced

1 tablespoon of olive oil

30g butter

1 medium size Red Pepper, sliced

Method


1. Rinse rice 2-3 times with water and then drain the water

2. Add 1.6 cups of water and cook the rice in a rice cooker

3. Place Flour, Paprika, Salt and pepper in a plastic bag and shake well to mix

4. Place prawns in the plastic bag and shake well to coat. Set aside

5. In the meantime, heat a non-stick frying pan with a little oil and fry garlic until light brown. Remove from heat and set aside

6. Add butter to the same pan and pan fry the prawns on each side for 2-3 mins

7. Add the prawns back to the pan and stir well to coat. Remove from heat

8. With the remaining oil and butter left in the pan, fry the red peppers until soft.

9. Enjoy the fragrant rice with this delicious garlicky shrimps and red pepper
